We’re Shikha and Pushpa — two sisters from the historic city of Lucknow, where the art of Chikankari is as natural as the air we breathe.
One of us (Shikha) is a working professional. The other (Pushpa) is a dedicated homemaker. In between life’s responsibilities, we longed for something more — something that connected us, gave back to our roots, and honored the incredible artisans around us.
What began as a way to pass time soon blossomed into a purpose-driven brand:

Our Story
We’re Shikha and Pushpa, two sisters born and raised in the vibrant lanes of Lucknow, where Chikankari isn’t just embroidery — it’s part of everyday life.
Pushpa is a full-time homemaker, deeply connected to family and tradition. Shikha juggles a professional career, always on the move but holding onto her cultural roots. Despite our different routines, one thing brought us together — the desire to do something meaningful with our time and to give back to the place we call home.
What started as casual conversations over tea became something more. We saw the beautiful work our local artisans were doing — generations of talent passed down quietly, yet struggling to survive in today’s fast world. We knew we wanted to help.
So, we created ThreadedLuxeChikankari — not just a clothing brand, but a platform to support the craft, the craftsmen, and the culture we hold so close to our hearts. Every piece we offer is made by hand, with patience and passion, by real artisans whose stories deserve to be seen and celebrated.
We didn’t start with big dreams or business plans. We started with a simple idea:
